Get your dig on this week by celebrating Junior Archaeologist Day at Wupatki National Monument tomorrow (Wed, March 16, 2011) and Friday (March 18, 2011 at 1pm.
These free events for kids 8-12 celebrates Arizona Archaeology & Heritage Awareness Month. Kids will learn about archaeology through fun, hands-on activities. Space is limited and reservations are required.
The event is free, but regular park entrance fees do apply. For more information or to make a reservation call the Wupaki Visitor Center at 928-679-2365.
